mXtreme project was cancelled since there's much better option -- PhantomS (http://www.volny.cz/boban07/PhantomS). It's cheaper and already made. We didn't want to make money on mXtreme, we just needed to pay development time so we welcome such project and recommend you to buy one since it's professional piece of hardware.
mXtreme is bus speeder originally made by Core/Titan Designs (Nemesis) and then followed by Phanatic (Phantom). Its features are:
Currently, you can't order mXtreme. We're looking for interest so you can pre-order mXtreme. If the number of pre-orders exceeds 50, we'll start to produce them. Before this we'll send mails to people who preordered mXtreme to pre-pay mXtreme. We'd like to highlight when we'll get money from all 50 people the time when you'll get your mXtreme will be less than 3 months. So no waiting for one or more years...
We decided to set the prize to 100 Euro. It includes mXtreme itself and instruction how to install it.
Unfortunately, the installation isn't as easy as CT60. You need to solder for about 10+7 (speeder+clockpatch) wires on Falcon motherboard + some cuts on custom chips...
The best way is to ask some friend who does... We really don't want to deal with this. If you really don't have any electrician around, we could offer your some not very low prize (i.e. 200 Euro) for such installation but once again: WE DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH THIS!
Write email to mxtreme@atari.org with subject "mXtreme" with the number of pieces you want and the name under which we can put your order at this website.
Here you can see the photo of installed Phantom in my (MiKRO's) Falcon. Our version will be a little bit better, more compact.
